| The Truth!I am a self-taught artist & poet currently living in Tempe, AZ, who prefers to create spontaneously on canvas, as freely as a child. I have called home many places across Panama, Europe & the South and West of the United States. My art is in the tradition of folk art & outsider art, with influences spanning graffiti art, cave drawings, African sculpture, Picasso, Basquiat, Klee, De Koonig & my own Hispanic heritage. My art reflects the underdog, the bull striving regardless of the cruel, lurking, ever-present matador. My ArtI work in a variety of mediums, including acrylics, watercolor, oil pastels, pens, markers & collage. Most pieces are on framed or compressed canvas, with a few painted on wood and other found objects. I have completed several pieces of commissioned art.
